I am Sara Schmidt, an RI-based photographer. I specialize in portraiture, headshots, family, pets, commercial/advertisement, editorial, and special events such as Engagements, Weddings, and Maternity as well.

I started as an intern at Bryant University, a Division 1 collegiate program. I have proved my hard work and dedication through my passion for photography and landed a full-time position as the college’s official sports photographer. I have 8+ years of experience in photographing sporting events ranging from elementary to professional level.

Much of my success is driven by the continued support of family, friends, and mentors who have assisted me in building skills in the world of sports photography.

Recognition: My work has been noticed by multiple sporting goods companies such as TB12, New Balance Lacrosse, and Brine Lacrosse. It has also been featured in several semi-pro social media platforms (i.e. New England Lacrosse, WPSL, CLarktown Soccer, WPSL East.) I’ve also worked closely with the RI Rougues, a semi-pro soccer team, NEC and American East Conference
